Job summary

Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Technician to support multiple production areas with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will perform setup, operation, and material handling while adhering to standard work and continuous improvement principles.

The role emphasizes teamwork and ownership, with opportunities to train new hires and contribute to cross-training across production lines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly or fabrication preferred.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools and basic production equipment.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow plant safety procedures and wear PPE to maintain safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Set up and operate workstations including loading, trimming, wrapping, banding, and assembly tasks.
• Move materials and finished goods using manual or mechanical aids.
• Monitor machine output, report issues, and assist with basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and assist with training new hires.
