Job summary

Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Employee-Owner to join our manufacturing team as a Technician.

You will support production, material handling, and quality-related activities across multiple areas, adhering to standard work and safety procedures to ensure on-time, high-quality output. Responsibilities include assisting operators, setting up workstations, handling materials, and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Support setup and operation of workstations (loading, catching, trimming, wrapping, banding, assembly).
• Perform material handling duties (loading raw materials, stacking, moving materials).
• Assist Operators by monitoring machine output and basic troubleshooting.
• Complete production tasks with hand and power tools and fabrication equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete end-of-shift housekeeping.
• Train new hires on equipment, procedures, safety, and quality standards.
• Cross-train in multiple production areas as needed.
