Border States Industries, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Kernersville, NC to support warehouse operations. You will receive freight, check for damages, and route materials to stock locations while filling orders for delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Warehouse distribution experience and forklift operation preferred.
• If driving, candidate must be at least 21 with a valid license and may require medical certification.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to the proper stock locations.
• Fills special orders/backorders as material is received.
• Coordinates deliveries with carriers or company trucks for special requests.
• Maintains inventory locations and shelves to keep them neat and orderly.
• Ensures batched material is labeled and inventoried as needed.
• Maintains delivery vehicle and keeps logs and paperwork up to date.
• Operates and maintains equipment following safety regulations.
