Job summary

Border States Industries, Inc. in Hobbs, NM seeks a Warehouse Supervisor I to lead daily warehouse operations and delivery services. You will ensure building security, manage equipment safety, and perform SAP functions to run deliveries efficiently and accurately.

The role requires supervising staff, maintaining driver records, and coaching drivers. Knowledge of electrical products and a valid driver’s license are preferred; forklift experience is desired.

Qualifications

• 2-year business/trade degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in warehouse distribution preferred.
• Experience coaching drivers on ride-along or vehicle handling.
• Good knowledge of electrical products or systems preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• Strong PC skills and SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations and deliveries.
• Coordinate training on Border States procedures, SAP and safety.
• Maintain security and upkeep of building/grounds per standards.
• Oversee maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
• Keep driver records compliant with state/federal regulations.
• Ensure CDL compliance for drivers handling heavy trucks.
• Manage inventory processes and communication with customers.
• Lead daily safety meetings and address safety concerns.
