Job summary

The Kendall Group in Portage, MI is seeking a Distribution Center Associate to help receive, store and move product, ensure stock accuracy, and support efficient DC operations daily. Duties include picking, packing, receiving inventory, stocking, loading and unloading, and operating forklift or hand trucks.

You must lift up to 50 lbs, work well in a team, and follow safety rules to maintain a safe, productive warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role; no previous experience required.
• Ability to use basic office/warehouse equipment and read instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; good teamwork.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and move product to support DC efficiency.
• Pick orders accurately and pack them for shipment.
• Receive shipments promptly and restock inventory as needed.
• Operate forklift and hand trucks safely.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Attend trainings and follow distribution center procedures.
