Job summary

The Kendall Group in Vandalia, OH is seeking a Distribution Center Associate to support receiving, storing, and distributing products across our facility. You will perform a variety of daily tasks to maintain inventory accuracy and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, receiving, restocking, truck loading, and operating forklifts or hand trucks. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment with safety in mind.

Qualifications

• Entry level role with on-the-job training.
• Ability to use barcode scanners, basic math, and standard warehouse equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work independently or in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Safety-focused and willing to follow procedures.
• Experience with RF scanners is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute inventory according to procedures.
• Pick orders accurately and promptly; pack and ship orders.
• Restock inventory in designated areas and maintain inventory counts.
• Operate forklift, hand trucks, and other equipment safely.
• Load and unload trucks and participate in housekeeping and safety initiatives.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as needed.
