Job summary

Border States in Grand Island, NE is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a 100 percent employee-owned team. You will receive inbound freight, inspect for damages, and place goods in correct stock locations while keeping shelves neat and accurate.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems is also preferred.
• If the employee will be driving, candidate must meet age and license criteria.
• PC skills for Windows, internet, email and SAP software are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks material for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to proper stock locations and fills special orders/backorders.
• Coordinates with departments, carriers, and vendors on discrepancies.
• Checks and packs material for delivery and maintains inventory locations.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment safety, logs, and routes for deliveries.
