Job summary

Border States Industries, Inc. in Lacey, WA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations, receiving freight, and distributing materials to stock locations. The role involves filling orders, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

The position offers hourly pay and requires attention to safety, quality, and timely communication with carriers and departments. Ideal candidates have 2 years of warehouse experience, forklift familiarity, and knowledge of SAP

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation is preferred.
• Experience with electrical products/systems is preferred.
• If the employee will be driving, the candidate must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and may require a medical certificate.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks the material for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to the proper stock locations.
• Fills special orders and/or backorders as material is received.
• Follows up with appropriate departments, carriers, and/or vendors on receiving discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Checks and packs material to be delivered.
• Maintains inventory stock locations and keeps shelves neat and orderly.
• Fills orders for delivery to customers.
• Maintains delivery vehicle in good working condition and logs driver activities as appropriate.
