Job summary

Border States in Janesville, WI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations. You will receive freight, inspect for damages, stock inventory, and process orders for delivery to customers.

You’ll coordinate with departments and carriers to resolve discrepancies and maintain neat, accurate inventories. The role requires attention to safety, basic Windows/SAP skills, and forklift operation experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical products/systems is a plus.
• If driving, must be 21+, valid driver’s license, and may require medical certification.
• PC knowledge for Windows, internet, email, and SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming freight and check for damages or shortages.
• Distribute material to stock locations.
• Fill special orders and backorders as material is received.
• Coordinate with departments, carriers, and vendors on discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Check and pack material for delivery.
• Understand truck routes and coordinate deliveries as needed.
• Maintain equipment and keep area clean and safe.
• Maintain inventory locations and proper labeling.
• Fill orders for delivery to customers.
• Maintain daily driver logs and vehicle inspection sheets.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely per regulations.
