Job summary

Border States Industries, Inc. in Grand Island, NE, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations. You will receive freight, inspect for damage, and distribute stock to the correct locations while filling orders and coordinating with carriers and vendors.

Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure safe, organized storage areas. The role involves routine warehouse tasks, including packing, loading, and following safety procedures, with opportunities to work with various departments

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Forklift operation experience preferred; driving criteria include being at least 21 with valid license and possible medical cert.
• SAP software knowledge is a plus.
• Basic Windows/internet/email skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to the proper stock locations.
• Fills special orders and backorders as material is received.
• Coordinates with departments, carriers or vendors on discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Checks and packs material for delivery.
• Maintains inventory locations and accurate labeling.
