Job summary

Border States, located in Chantilly, VA, seeks a VMI Coordinator to manage Vendor Managed Inventory programs for key customers. You will oversee VMI warehouses, ensure accurate SAP processes, and support pricing, inventory control, and delivery coordination.

You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain high service levels, handle orders, and drive improvements in inventory management and customer satisfaction. A two-year business/trade degree and SAP experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the VMI program with a clear vision and defined processes.
• Collaborate with customers and branch on VMI program changes.
• Transition inventories and implement programs post-approval.
• Maintain and document VMI project communications and reports.
• Manage inventory levels and monitor VMI performance against goals.
• Support sales/marketing efforts and provide proactive customer service.
