Job summary

PCL Buildings Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a Superintendent - Phoenix Buildings to lead on-site execution, safety, and schedule management for assigned projects.

The role involves coordinating with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to deliver on time and within budget, while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The candidate should have a Journeyman certificate or engineering degree, 10 years of field supervision experience, and strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or undergraduate/engineering degree in a related discipline.
• NCSO designation required (IND); Gold Seal enrollment preferred.
• 10 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with project manager to implement safety program and site plans.
• Supervises, directs, coaches, trains and mentors the project team.
• Communicates with teams to ensure performance, productivity, quality and safety targets.
• Collaborates with project manager and team to manage schedule and resolve conflicts.
• Liaises with engineers, estimators, subcontractors, clients and union representatives to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Plans, schedules and manages project execution and budgets to meet targets.
• Reviews contracts and develops risk mitigation plans to protect profitability.
• Maintains project administration and documentation.
• Builds strong customer relationships with stakeholders.
