The position oversees hiring, scheduling, inventory, deposits, and safety, driving neighborhood engagement and adherence to company policies. Opportunities for advancement abound.

Responsibilities

• Gives all customers prompt and courteous service adhering to Best In Class standards
• Ensures store appearance reflects company expectations and standards
• Ensures store is open and ready for business during all hours
• Handles customer conflicts using MAKE IT RIGHT
• Utilizes all tools to execute company programs and policies
• Manages expenses and sales to budget or better
• Engages in community involvement for neighborhood marketing
• Motivates Sales Associates through contests and coaching
• Recruiting talented candidates and effectively scheduling staff
• Communicates with store associates, Division Manager and corporate office
• Follows all applicable laws and serves as a role model for associates
• Controls store expenses and ensures adherence to uniform policy
• Maintains daily store checklists for managers and staff
• Posts schedules two weeks in advance
• Maintains inventory accuracy and ensures deposits are taken daily
• Records hours worked and enforces no-work-off-clock policy
• Maintains a safe and harassment-free environment
• Ensures compliance with Responsible Retailing policy
• Works with teams on training and development
• Ensures all assets are protected and properly safeguarded
• Monitors shelves and signage for accuracy and in-stock levels
• Ensures all equipment and maintenance issues are addressed promptly
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation across food service areas
• Manages safety practices including proper ladder use and floor signage
• Reports accidents or injuries promptly to management
• Complies with EPA regulations and internal procedures
