Job summary

LJA seeks a Right of Way Agent with experience in public infrastructure projects to negotiate with landowners under Uniform Act guidelines. You will manage offers, counteroffers, and documentation, building rapport and guiding parcels through title and closing processes.

The role requires knowledge of Texas eminent domain procedures, relocation, and related acquisition practices, with travel across Texas and collaboration with remote teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required for real estate acquisitions.
• Active Texas Real Estate Sales Agent’s license is required.
• Notary public certification or ability to become one within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate property rights for public infrastructure projects with landowners.
• Prepare offers, counteroffers, and related documents.
• Maintain rapport with owners and track parcel status.
• Provide updates in logs and status reports.
• Support title, appraisal, and closing processes.
• Collaborate across multiple projects and managers.
