Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Level 1 ServSafe Certification after hire; company support provided.
• Retail or customer-facing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional, customer-focused communication style.
• Clear verbal communication with guests, teammates, and leadership.
• Ability to stay calm and solution-focused during busy times.
• Basic math and reading proficiency with attention to detail.
• Experience following processes and completing tasks accurately.
• Experience prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing conditions during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, answer questions, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Maintain product and food presentation reflecting quality and freshness standards.
• Demonstrate reliability: arrive prepared, on time, ready to serve guests.
• Perform cashier functions: ringing, cash/card handling, balancing registers, following cash-handling procedures.
• Stock, rotate, and maintain merchandise for freshness, labeling, and visual appeal.
• Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to prevent shortages/overstock.
• Adhere to store standards: cleanliness, organization, safety both inside and outside.
• Complete shift paperwork and operational tasks (gas prices, safe counts, cigarette counts).
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, sanitize high-touch areas, maintain restrooms, comply with health regulations.
• Assist with deliveries, verify shipments, organize backroom storage.
