Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. in Provo, Utah is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our Utah Division.

You will coordinate with the Project Superintendent to develop site logistics, oversee pay requests, and monitor costs on active water and wastewater construction projects. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, at least eight years of field experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor degree in Construction Management or related program required.
At least eight (8) years of construction field experience required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
Effective Communication Skills both oral and written, and quick response time to inquiries.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Project Superintendent in development of a project site logistics plan.
Oversee the pay request process.
Monitor project costs and job cost report.
Analyze and forecast total cost projections.
Monitor project labor.
Review and approve material and equipment needs.
Assist in estimating when bidding projects.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with owners, vendors, subcontractors.
Any and all other duties assigned.
