Job summary

Burns & McDonnell’s Dallas–Fort Worth office seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead overhead transmission projects from concept to completion. You will manage scope, schedule, cost, QA/QC, and multi-discipline teams, ensuring client satisfaction and compliant deliverables.

The role focuses on growing client relationships, pursuing new opportunities, preparing proposals, and supporting contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 7+ years of applicable experience preferred.
• Experience on overhead transmission or similar projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management of projects from concept to completion.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope and costs.
• Own internal project financials including forecasting and accruals.
• Lead client coordination, vendor/subcontractor management and QA/QC adherence.
• Prepare proposals, assist with presentations and contract negotiations.
• Travel to client and project locations as needed.
