Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator for a safety-focused role in the construction site environment. You will safely operate backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, haul trucks and more, while performing pre-shift checks and basic maintenance.

The position requires several years of experience in industrial/construction settings and a strong ability to read drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in industrial/construction with heavy equipment.
• Read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain positive relationships with crew.
• Provide feedback to ensure materials, tools and information availability.
• Look for improvement opportunities and be willing to learn from others.
• Share knowledge and mentor others.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
