Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a field technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a range of heavy equipment, including backhoes, excavators, dozers, and trucks. The role requires welding and cutting torch experience and a willingness to travel to job sites.

The candidate should have at least three years in industrial/construction equipment maintenance, be able to read technical publications, and possess own tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in industrial/construction maintenance of heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical publications, safety and quality standards.
• Must have own tools and be willing to travel.
• Must have a current physical card and CDL or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with crew.
• Produce high quality work safely and productively.
• Provide feedback to ensure materials, tools, and information are available.
• Seek opportunities for improvement and learn from others.
• Share knowledge and mentor others.
• Perform high level preventative maintenance on equipment.
