Job summary

Selinc, located in Pullman, WA, is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer who will analyze, design, and develop analog and digital circuits and lead moderate complexity hardware projects. You will prepare system specifications, test plans, and project notebooks, and collaborate with purchasing and manufacturing.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years in areas like analog/digital design, power supplies, or programmable logic (VHDL/Verilog).

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of combined experience in at least two of the listed areas.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, designs, and develops conventional analog and digital circuits.
• Conducts moderate to complex design reviews to demonstrate product and circuit robustness.
• Develops hardware specifications and prepares system-level specifications.
• Writes and analyzes test plans, executes tests, and evaluates results for peer reviews.
• Prepares and maintains product documentation including data sheets and project notebooks.
• Provides and maintains accurate project plans and may lead hardware projects of moderate complexity.
• Coordinates engineering activities with purchasing and manufacturing.
• Mentors and directs the efforts of associate engineers and technicians.
