Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. seeks an Associate Hardware Engineer to join the Government Services team in Pullman, WA. You will help integrate electric power systems for Navy customers and start a new shipboard product line.

Required: BS in E.E. with 2+ years in analog/digital design, power, PCB layout, or prototyping. U.S. citizenship and collaboration across teams are essential, with strong documentation skills and a commitment to SEL values.

Qualifications

• Analogs and digital circuit design experience required or preferred.
• Develop hardware specs and system level specs.
• Experience writing test plans and evaluating results.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and develop analog and digital circuits.
• Develop hardware specifications and system-level specs.
• Write and analyze test plans, execute tests, review results.
• Prepare and maintain product docs and design notebooks.
• Lead hardware projects and coordinate with purchasing/manufacturing.
• Mentor associate engineers and technicians.
