Job summary

Liberty Military Housing in San Diego, CA is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to perform routine cleaning and upkeep of grounds, buildings, amenities, and surrounding areas in a multi-family community. You will operate tools and equipment, communicate effectively, and uphold our mission of exemplary service.

The role requires entry-level to 6 months of custodial/maintenance experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel to regional locations.

Qualifications

• Entry level to 6 months of general custodial/maintenance experience.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and cleaning equipment.
• Good communication with team and residents.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel to other regional locations for work.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, district office, pool, recreation areas, parking lots and other areas surrounding the community.
• Removes trash from grounds, office areas, homes, and the surrounding community perimeter on a daily basis.
• Details interior and exterior areas on a regular basis, using general cleaning tools and equipment.
• Assists Service Technicians when needed.
• Reports maintenance concerns for repairs on homes, community and/or common areas to management.
