Job summary

Jasper Electric Motors in Jasper, IN is seeking a Motor Mechanic to repair and troubleshoot various motors in a fast-paced, on-site shop environment. You will work Monday through Friday with an after-hours on-call rotation to support customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in motor repair or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of shop equipment and safety procedures

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screens

Responsibilities

• Repair large and small DC motors
• Perform routine tests on armature and field circuits
• Use diagnostic tools to test various components
• Conduct live run tests and quality inspections before delivery
