Job summary

Jasper Electric Motors is seeking a Motor Mechanic to join our team in Jasper, IN. You will be responsible for repairing and troubleshooting various types of motors, with a Monday–Friday schedule and after-hours on-call rotation.

Responsibilities include repairing large and small DC motors, testing armatures and field circuits, using diagnostic tools, performing mechanical checks, live run testing, and delivering quality inspections before returning to customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience required.
• Knowledge of shop equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Pay based on experience.
• Self-driven and good communication skills.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screens.

Job Overview:

Jasper Electric Motors is looking for a Motor Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for repairing and troubleshooting various types of motors.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday (6:00am to 4:00pm)

On call rotating schedule for after hours, holidays, and weekends
