Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company in Ravenel, SC is seeking a Climbing Arborist Crew Leader to oversee an outdoor crew delivering professional tree-care services. You will lead safely, plan tasks, and ensure client satisfaction as part of a large, employee-owned organization.

You will climb using advanced systems, mentor team members, and manage tools from chainsaws to aerial lifts while benefiting from Davey's career development ecosystem and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Orientation Program upon hire
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide licenses/certificates
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Certified Tree Worker, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems
• Lead a crew in providing arboricultural care for clients
• Mentor crew members through the Davey Career Development Program
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts)
