Job Title: Employee Experience Associate

Summary:
Each shift begins with employee questions and onboarding requests waiting in the shared queue. As an Employee Experience Associate, you help employees find clear answers, prepare for orientation, and feel connected throughout their early workplace experience. You sit within the HR team, work under an employee experience team lead, and coordinate with employees, managers, trainers, and IT support. This fully remote, desk-based position lets you work from home in Ohio, United States, while helping routine requests move toward resolution. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review incoming employee emails and requests in a support platform such as Freshdesk, identify the requested assistance, and organize next steps by urgency.
- Check orientation requests against approved session information, confirming the employee's department, manager, and outstanding preparation steps before arranging the appropriate follow-up.
- Use an HR system such as Workday to check onboarding task status and enter accurate progress updates within your assigned permissions.
- Send approved welcome information, orientation reminders, and practical instructions that help new employees understand where to find resources and whom to contact.
- Coordinate orientation attendance with employees, managers, and trainers, checking session details and communicating changes so everyone has the same current information.
- Answer routine questions about workplace resources and recognition programs using approved guidance, referring questions outside that guidance to the employee experience team lead.
- Route system access difficulties to IT support, explain the handoff to employees, and follow up with the assigned contact when updates are overdue.
- Distribute approved employee feedback questionnaires through a survey such as SurveyMonkey, track response status, and summarize recurring themes without exposing individual responses.
- Support employee recognition activities by checking submitted details, arranging approved reminders, and flagging recurring concerns that may affect employee satisfaction or retention.
- Close resolved requests with clear notes and handoffs; quality is judged through accuracy, turnaround, complete notes, and consistent follow-up on outstanding actions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No experience required; related experience supporting employees, coordinating orientations, or answering workplace questions is preferred.
- Basic understanding of employee experience, workplace culture, recognition activities, and the purpose of structured new hire orientations.
- Willingness to learn an HR system such as Workday and follow approved steps for checking task status.
- Comfortable learning request tracking and survey tools, checking entries carefully, and keeping employee information private.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain routine instructions respectfully and recognize when guidance is needed.
- Ability to organize competing requests, maintain accurate notes, and follow through without making commitments outside your authority.
- A reliable computer, high-speed internet, and quiet private workspace, plus availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Fully remote work focused on desk-based employee support from your home workspace in Ohio.

- Opportunities to build employee experience, internal communication, orientation coordination, and practical follow-up skills through everyday assignments.
- Health coverage, paid leave, a 401(k), bonus opportunities, and stipends.
