Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required in any field.
• 3+ years of professional HR experience or related functions.
• Experience in employee engagement and development is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse campus stakeholders and maintain confidentiality.
• Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., HRIS/PeopleSoft) is a plus.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and best practices in higher education HR.

Aufgaben

• Provide excellent customer service in HR administration for UH Hilo campus.
• Develop and execute employee engagement and professional development programs.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and continuous staff development initiatives.
• Collaborate with campus stakeholders to promote workplace culture and retention.
• Administer training compliance and track program outcomes using HR systems.
• Advise supervisors on performance evaluation processes and training needs.
• Maintain HR website content and provide resources for employees and supervisors.
• Assist with regulatory training requirements and ensure timely follow-up.
• Support HR Director with workforce planning and data-driven improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
