Job summary

Kamehameha Schools Hawaii Campus is seeking a Program Director of Professional Learning to lead a campus-wide system that supports growth, engagement, and retention. This role drives HCBE-aligned learning initiatives and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive learning framework across campus.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in professional learning, strong project management, and a deep commitment to Hawaiian culture-based education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Hawaiian Studies, Educational Leadership, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in professional learning, staff development, change management, or process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Hawaiian culture, HCBE practices, and values.
• Proven ability to consult with leaders to design and implement effective learning programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of campus-wide professional learning strategies aligned with E Ola! priorities and HCBE practices.
• Partner with principals and leaders to develop faculty and leadership learning frameworks.
• Develop personalized learning plans that build HCBE skills and competencies.
• Apply coaching, mentoring, and adult learning to build staff capability and performance.
• Remain current on K-12 education trends and HCBE best practices to ensure programs stay relevant.
