Job summary

FlowerHire partners with a growing, multi-state organization to hire a Manager of Employee Engagement who will execute people, culture, and engagement initiatives across a distributed retail workforce. This hands-on role turns people strategy into practical programs that enhance the employee experience, strengthen culture, and support retention and performance.

You'll work closely with HR, field leadership, and operations to ensure programs are implemented consistently across locations,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR, employee engagement, or related people-focused roles.
• Experience supporting a multi-unit, multi-site, or distributed workforce (retail preferred).
• Strong knowledge of engagement, performance, recognition, and culture programs.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building across corporate and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute employee engagement, culture, and recognition initiatives across a multi-location retail organization.
• Manage and support performance review processes, ensuring consistency and timely completion across locations.
• Help oversee attendance tracking and performance documentation processes.
• Support employee engagement surveys, analyze feedback, and help translate results into actionable initiatives.
• Partner with HR and operational leaders to strengthen employee experience and engagement at the field level.
• Coordinate recognition programs, culture-building initiatives, volunteer activities, and employee events.
• Maintain and improve tools, templates, and processes supporting engagement and performance management.
• Track engagement metrics, program participation, performance review completion, and other key people metrics.
• Provide managers and leaders with tools and resources to reinforce engagement best practices.
• Help ensure culture and employee programs are communicated and executed consistently across the organization.
