Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking an Event Coordinator within the ODE Workforce Dev Diversity team to drive planning, logistics, and execution of workplace events. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of event coordination or admin support.
• Associates degree with 2-3 years of event coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates end-to-end event logistics, venue selection, catering, AV setup, and materials for employee engagement activities and Leadership Forums.
• Manages weekly new hire orientation sessions: communications, check-in, room scheduling, badges, materials, presenters.
• Develops and distributes promotional communications and marketing materials with final approval, tracks registrations and RSVPs.
• Coordinates with HR, Marketing, Catering and Facilities to align events with objectives; partners with external vendors and speakers.
• Tracks budgets, POs, invoices, and expense documentation for departmental programs.
• Supports volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and staffing for events and provides logistical consulting for teams.
• Collects attendance and feedback to prepare analytics for continuous improvement and inclusive standards.
