Job summary

Easterseals NH in Manchester, NH is seeking an Employee Engagement Coordinator to spearhead initiatives, events, trainings, and systems that foster engagement and belonging across a diverse workforce.

You will design programs to strengthen culture, gather feedback, partner with leaders on recognition and retention, and support internal communications and change management. This role travels between program sites to elevate the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, School Leadership, Organizational Development, Diversity and Equity, or similar subject area preferred.
• Experience with employee engagement, equity and inclusion, training & development, or related fields.
• Experience promoting employee engagement in the workplace.
• Knowledge of proven employee engagement strategies.
• Experience working with New American communities in southern New Hampshire preferred.
• Bilingualism preferred.
• Diversity and multiculturalism commitment in work experience.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and handling confidential information with tact.
• Excellent listening, influence, and coaching abilities across levels.
• Ability to lead projects, define goals, milestones, and deliverables.
• Knowledge of technology including Microsoft Office, statistical software and advanced Web apps.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with employees across the program.
• Design and coordinate recognition and awards programs.
• Create spaces, displays, and resources for community-building.
• Design and coordinate diversity celebrations among staff.
• Identify and coordinate cultural competency training.
• Identify partnerships for English learning classes and trainers.
• Contribute to Employee Appreciation and Accessibility Committees.
• Use surveys, dialogue, and assessment tools to monitor engagement.
• Travel between program sites to align culture.
• Conduct meetings to solicit feedback and suggestions.
• Collaborate with Human Resources for consistency across the organization.
