Job summary

RTX seeks a forward‑deployed employee communications leader for Pratt & Whitney. The role sits within the business and anchors to a global communications function, delivering integrated storytelling and strategic counsel to strengthen employee connection.

You will lead SBU communications, develop multi‑channel content plans, and leverage analytics and AI tools to measure impact. Regular onsite collaboration in East Hartford, CT is required with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing and executing enterprise-level internal communications strategies.
• Experience supporting senior leaders with executive communications and employee messaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead SBU Communications: Own strategy, planning, and execution for one SBU’s employee communications portfolio.
• Drive end-to-end employee communications for major campaigns, product milestones, leadership messages and high-visibility events.
• Serve as trusted advisor to SBU leaders on sensitive, high-stakes, or crisis messaging.
• Partner with enterprise COEs to ensure message consistency and business alignment.
• Maintain regular onsite presence in East Hartford for collaboration and alignment.
