Job summary

Relation Insurance Services is seeking a Risk Advisor in the United States to drive new insurance account production and sales. You will educate clients, promote services, and grow a profitable book of business through consultative selling and strategic relationship building.

Your day includes developing a robust pipeline, presenting actionable recommendations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client success.

Qualifications

• A Life and Health License from state of domicile is required and must be maintained.
• Minimum of 2+ years sales experience in insurance with a focus on Employee Benefits.
• College degree preferred with preference for Risk Management experience.
• Strong networking and COI-based relationship building abilities.
• Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills for in-person and virtual sessions.
• In-depth understanding of employee benefits lines of coverage and insurance markets.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual revenue objectives through consultative sales to new clients and expansion of service lines.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects and leads from various sources.
• Document new business activity and close opportunities with clients.
• Provide consultative recommendations and risk assessments to clients.
• Coordinate with loss control and claims advocacy teams as needed.
• Transition sold clients to client service/account management teams.
