Job summary

Relation Insurance Services is seeking a Risk Advisor in Colorado to drive new insurance account production and sales activities within assigned accounts. The role involves researching markets, educating clients, promoting insurance services, and maintaining a profitable book of business.

Travel to client sites is expected. The candidate should have 2+ years of insurance sales experience, preferably with Employee Benefits, and a college degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales experience in the insurance industry with a focus on Employee Benefits coverage.

Responsibilities

• Achieves annual new revenue objectives through consultative sales to new clients and expansion of service lines to existing clients.
• Develops annual sales plan with a pipeline coverage ratio to ensure goals are met.
• Builds an active pipeline of qualified prospects and generates leads from various sources.
• Documents new business activity in the system(s).
• Closes new business and records opportunities and reasons in the system.
