The Baldwin Group’s CAC Group, a leading insurance broker, seeks a Client Relationship Manager for Employee Benefits in Birmingham, AL. You will be the primary liaison between carriers and clients, managing benefit programs, renewals, and day-to-day service inquiries.

Working with the Client Success Specialist, advisors, and internal teams, you will ensure timely deliverables, plan compliance, and a high-quality Peace of Mind client experience that strengthens relationships and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, finance, or related field; professional designation preferred.
• Current state License required (Life & Health)
• 2-4+ years of employee benefits and account management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present to decision-makers and employees
• Foundational understanding of renewal processes and plan funding types such as self-funded and level-funded

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain strong client relationships as the primary point of contact.
• Lead the renewal process with option benchmarking, plan design alternatives, and contribution modeling.
• Manage client onboarding, renewals, open enrollment prep, and plan documentation updates.
• Ensure benefit programs comply with ERISA, HIPAA, ACA regulations and file 5500s.
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate service delivery.
