Job summary

The Baldwin Group seeks a Client Manager, Employee Benefits to support our clients’ benefit needs with prompt and efficient service. You will prepare client presentations, claim reports, and renewal details, and ready data for marketing efforts to seek alternative coverages and plans.

Responsibilities include onboarding, renewals, 5500 filings, open enrollment prep, and creating executive summaries for clients. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written communications.
• Current state license required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred plus 2+ years of related experience.
• Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage client service calendar including onboarding, renewals, compliance alerts, filings, and Open Enrollment prep.
• Prepare executive summaries with claim experience, benchmarking, rate renewals, and renewal recommendations.
• Manage policy activity for assigned accounts and present marketplace risks when quoting.
• Communicate expectations to clients regularly and professionally, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Address client inquiries with internal teams and insurance partners to resolve issues.
