Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Executive to manage employee benefits programs, advise clients, ensure compliance, and support sales and service teams. The role rewards proactive problem-solving and a client-focused approach.

You will serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, coordinate renewal activities, oversee enrollment and data reporting, collaborate with carriers, and produce reports on benefit usage and costs to guide decisions.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in account management, client services, or related field.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Minimum typing speed of 40–50 words per minute.
  • Agency Management System knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients and build relationships.
  • Coordinate marketing and renewal activities, prepare proposals and presentations, and ensure client agreements.
  • Oversee employee benefits administration: enrollment, eligibility, service requests, and data reporting.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers and benefits providers for smooth implementation.
  • Conduct market research and recommend competitive benefit offerings and customized packages.
  • Generate reports on usage, trends, and costs to support decision-making.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; manage audits and reporting requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms.
  • Provide employee guidance, conduct orientations, workshops, and develop communication materials.
  • Ensure all accounts meet internal standards through self-audit processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role
