Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a dedicated Claims Adjuster to support workers' compensation and related claims in Connecticut. This hybrid role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and commitment to client service.

You will investigate and resolve claims, collaborate with clients, and ensure timely, accurate documentation in line with policy and regulatory standards. Bachelor's degree is preferred; High School Diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 3 years related claims experience.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve workers' compensation claims using analytical skills.
• Work in partnership with clients to deliver innovative solutions and enhance the claims management process.
• Think critically, solve problems, plan, and prioritize tasks to optimally serve clients and claimants.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely and effectively, supporting the outcome of the claim file.
