Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to two years related experience and/or training.
• Medicine Technician (Med-Tech) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises self-administration of medication for residents.
• Assists with ADL's, meal service, light housekeeping, and laundry while promoting resident independence.
• Speaks to/interacts with residents with empathy and respect; maintains a dignified and caring atmosphere.
• Observes and reports changes in residents' health and emotional well-being to supervisor.
• Provides dining assistance and participates in leisure activities as per the activity calendar.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and colleagues.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and attends trainings as required.
