Job summary

The Glen at Ocala is seeking a Med-Tech to support residents in daily living activities, medication supervision, dining and housekeeping tasks. You will work closely with the care team to ensure safety and comfort for residents in Ocala, FL.

Relevant experience and Med-Tech certification preferred. This on-site role emphasizes compassionate resident care, adherence to HIPAA, and teamwork within a senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Medicine Technician (Med-Tech) certification.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures; basic math and measurement.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records software.

Responsibilities

• Supervises self-administration of medication for residents.
• Assists with ADLs, meals, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
• Assists in dining room and leisure activities.
• Responds promptly to resident requests and communicates effectively.
