Job summary

Envirotest, a subsidiary of Opus Inspection, seeks a Station Manager in Maryland to oversee emissions station operations, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain a safe, customer-focused environment.

You will interview and train staff, schedule staffing, manage inventory and facilities, lead the safety program, and report on weekly activity while driving efficiency and low customer wait times.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of emission stations to ensure compliance with Envirotest’s policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Interview, hire, onboard, and assist with the training of new employees, giving continuous coaching, feedback, and support.
• Supervise and assign tasks to employees to ensure the efficiency of the station.
• Create employee schedules to ensure proper staffing for station based on forecasted customer traffic and operational needs.
• Ensure emission inspections are conducted accurately and efficiently to minimize customer wait times.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly operation activities.
• Manage inventory of supplies around the station.
• Coordinate facility maintenance, including groundskeeping, snow removal, janitorial upkeep and painting.
• Promote a culture of safety by leading the station’s Safety Program to ensure the safety of both employees and customers.
• Complete administrative paperwork related to station’s operations and finances
• Conduct emissions tests as needed to maintain compliance with customer wait time expectations.
• Additional duties as assigned by District or Operations Manager.
