Job summary

Envirotest, the operating subsidiary of Opus Inspection, seeks a full-time Assistant Manager for our VEIP station in Prince Frederick, Maryland. The role supports the Station Manager with daily operations, scheduling, cash handling and safety, with a 40-hour work week andflexible daytime hours.

We offer a benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). A leased position through Carmel Staffing, LLC supports staffing needs for the Annapolis facility.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a service/inspection station or similar team.
• Ability to manage daily operations and ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing the inspection station in line with company objectives.
• Shares accountability for station operations, including troubleshooting, cash handling, and scheduling rests.
• Assumes station manager duties in the manager's absence.
• Maintains good public relations with customers, employees and the community.
• Helps open and close the facility; ensures safety for customers and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Station Manager or District Manager.

Assistant Manager with the Maryland Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP)

Schedule: Flex Hours Monday-Saturday 40 hours per week, daytime hours

Location: Prince Frederick, MD

Compensation: $19.00, benefits package offerred including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k)

Envirotest, the operating subsidiary of Opus Inspection, a worldwide provider of vehicle emissions testing equipment and services, is currently looking for a full-time Assistant Manager to assist the Station Manager in local operations for our Annapolis, Maryland inspection facility.

Job Description

• Assists in managing the inspection station in accordance with the company-specified technical and financial objectives
• Shares accountability for all station operations, including, but not limited to troubleshooting, cash handling, and scheduling rest and meal periods
• Assumes the responsibilities of the station manager in his or her absence
• Ensures good public relations between the Company, employees and the community
• Assists the Station Manager in opening and closing the facility
• Ensures the safety and protection for customers and employees
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Station Manager and/or District Manager
• This is a leased position through Carmel Staffing, LLC.
