Job summary

Envirotest, a subsidiary of Opus Inspection, seeks a Station Manager to oversee the daily emissions-station operations and foster a safe, customer-focused environment.

You will interview, hire, train staff, create schedules, manage inspections, and ensure timely and compliant testing while controlling inventory and coordinating maintenance.

This role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience, a business-related degree is desirable, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field is desirable.
• Previous customer service and cash-handling experience required.
• Excellent organization skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to express and exchange ideas verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of emission stations to ensure compliance with policies and performance standards.
• Interview, hire, onboard, and train new employees with coaching and feedback.
• Supervise and assign tasks to ensure station efficiency.
• Create employee schedules based on forecasted customer traffic and operational needs.
• Ensure emission inspections are accurate and efficient to minimize customer wait times.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly operation reports.
• Manage inventory of supplies around the station.
• Coordinate facility maintenance and upkeep and safety programs.
• Promote safety by leading the station’s Safety Program.
• Complete administrative paperwork related to station operations and finances.
• Conduct emissions tests as needed to maintain compliance with customer wait time expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by District or Operations Manager.
