Qualifications

• Excellent organization and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage staff and operations with safety in mind.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of emission stations to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Interview, hire, onboard, and assist with training of new employees with coaching.
• Supervise and assign tasks to ensure station efficiency.
• Create employee schedules based on forecasted traffic and needs.
• Ensure emission inspections are accurate and efficient to minimize wait times.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly operation activities/reports.
• Manage inventory of supplies around the station.
• Coordinate facility maintenance and janitorial tasks.
• Promote a culture of safety through the station's Safety Program.
• Complete administrative paperwork related to operations and finances.
• Conduct emissions tests as needed to maintain compliance.
• Additional duties as assigned by District or Operations Manager.

Our Station Manager oversees the daily operations of our emissions station while creating a safe and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day operations of emission stations to ensure compliance with Envirotest's policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Interview, hire, onboard, and assist with the training of new employees, giving continuous coaching, feedback, and support.
• Supervise and assign tasks to employees to ensure the efficiency of the station.
• Create employee schedules to ensure proper staffing for station based on forecasted customer traffic and operational needs.
• Ensure emission inspections are conducted accurately and efficiently to minimize customer wait times.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly operation activities.
• Manage inventory of supplies around the station.
• Coordinate facility maintenance, including groundskeeping, snow removal, janitorial upkeep and painting.
• Promote a culture of safety by leading the station's Safety Program to ensure the safety of both employees and customers.
• Complete administrative paperwork related to station's operations and finances
• Conduct emissions tests as needed to maintain compliance with customer wait time expectations.
• Additional duties as assigned by District or Operations Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience required
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field is desirable
• Previous customer service and cash-handling experience required
• Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Excellent organization skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to express and exchange ideas verbally and in writing

Physical Demands:

• Ability to enter and exit vehicles, 50-80% of the time
• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, pulling and stooping, up to 90% of the time
• Ability to withstand exposure to extreme heat and cold weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 20lbs
