Job summary

Maryland Department of Transportation (MVA) in Glen Burnie, MD seeks an Administrative Officer III to monitor the Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program (VEIP) contractor compliance and program data. The role develops policies, oversees reporting, and coordinates with the vendor to ensure performance aligns with MDOT goals.

The candidate will analyze data daily, prepare reports for MBE and contractor performance, and assist in program initiatives, with a focus on contract monitoring and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of experience in administrative or professional work, with at least one year in contract monitoring, contract compliance, or contract management.
• Selective qualifications may apply; substitutions limited as noted in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee VEIP vendor performance, MBE compliance, liquidated damages, and contractor reporting.
• Notify Contract Manager of deficiencies and assist in planning corrective actions.
• Assist in training, development, and planning of program initiatives.
• Develop and review reports for MBE, accounting, and contractor performance.
• Assist in updating customer communications and website content as needed.
• Schedule station and kiosk visits and analyze related data.
• Review and update policies with the vendor to ensure program compliance.
