Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking an EMI/EMC Test Engineer to join the hardware team. You will act as a subject matter expert on electromagnetic environmental effects testing, collaborating with design and Avionics teams to develop test configurations and procedures for MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 requirements.

You will develop and maintain EMC test software and reports, troubleshoot tests, and contribute to analysis and mitigation strategies for EMI in harnesses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of EMI/EMC analysis, testing, and/or compliance experience.
• Experience developing functional specs, test procedures, and root cause investigations.
• Experience with EMC lab test equipment, setup, and configurations.

Responsibilities

• Work with hardware design teams as SME in electromagnetic environmental effects testing.
• Complete EMC test procedures by supporting configurations and testing to MIL-STD-461 and/or DO-160.
• Collaborate with harnessing team to develop EMI mitigation strategies for harnesses.
• Develop and maintain EMC test software and report generation.
• Troubleshoot/test in conjunction with Avionics teams across Amazon Leo.
