Job summary

X4 Engineering in Glendale, CA is seeking an experienced EMI/EMC Test Engineer to lead MIL-STD-461 testing, develop custom test setups, and drive ISO/IEC 17025 audit readiness. On-site role requiring hands-on testing, documentation, and liaison with customers and auditors.

The ideal candidate will design test setups, perform comprehensive MIL-STD-461 testing, and ensure compliance with applicable standards while delivering clear technical reports and data analyses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on EMI/EMC testing experience including MIL-STD-461.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIL-STD-461 testing across conducted/emissions and radiated emissions/susceptibility.
• Build and verify EMI test setups and perform system checks.
• Represent EMI/EMC technical voice during ISO/IEC 17025 audits and customer audits.
• Write and maintain EMI/EMC test procedures and records.
