Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie is seeking a skilled EMI/EMC engineer to support multiple programs, including targeting and navigation systems, missile and communications subsystems. You will assist in defining EMI requirements, perform testing, and analyze failures to drive subsystem and system compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics, 3+ years’ experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related fields
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Ability to obtain Secret security clearance
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Forklift certified and able to perform hoist/crane operations

Responsibilities

  • Support/review EMI aspects of product development
  • Help develop requirements and designs; support EMI testing to MIL-STD-461/464, MIL-STD-1275
  • Perform integration testing of electrical subsystems
  • Develop harnesses/fixtures for EMI/EMC and power tests
  • Use data analysis tools to reproduce and characterize failures
  • Drive failure analysis and path to subsystem/system compliance
  • Oversee Lab 6S and maintain lab equipment/calibrations
