Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, seeks an Engineer II in Aguadilla, PR to perform PCB analysis and EMI/EMC support for environmental qualification testing. The role blends onsite and remote work, with collaboration across cross-functional teams and mentorship of junior engineers.

You will design schematics and layouts, evaluate signal and power integrity, and ensure DO-160 and MIL-STD-461 compliance while contributing to project plans and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• Experience with schematic diagrams and PCB layout.
• Familiarity with Electrical CAD tools such as Pspice, Allegro or LTspice.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCB design, fabrication, and EMI/EMC analysis for environmental qualification testing.
• Prepare schematics and PCB layouts using Electrical CAD tools.
• Support stress, de-rating, signal integrity, and power integrity analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff.
• Develop technical documentation, estimates, and project schedules.
• Identify risks and create mitigation plans for complex issues.
• Ensure compliance with DO-160 and MIL-STD-461 standards.
• Conduct EMI/EMC design/testing analyses for PCB assemblies.
