RTX's Collins Aerospace GETC-PR in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico is hiring a Materials Engineer to support the Landing Systems Materials team. This role contributes to material evaluations, MOC analysis, and compliance activities while aligning with engineering and quality requirements.

This position is based in Aguadilla, PR with residency required at start and offers a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and up to 10% travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifikationen

• STEM degree with 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 tools.
• Experience or familiarity with REACh, Teamcenter, ViCi, and CAD materials annotations.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.

Aufgaben

• Support manufacturing planning reviews, work transfers, customer requests, work packages, and process troubleshooting.
• Perform specification and part decomposition activities.
• Ensure compliance with global materials regulations, including REACh and TSCA.
• Conduct Materials of Concern (MOC) analysis.
• Assist with MPS review activities and supplier-qualification tasks.
• Support the Materials Control Board (MCB) by evaluating material discrepancies.
• Prepare, review, and approve engineering procedures, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Participate in cross-functional problem-solving using RRCA techniques.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams, suppliers, and customers to improve products and processes.
• Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally as required.
